My Background
I am a behavioral health and substance abuse counselor who received my Master of Science in Art Therapy and Counseling from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I work with clients to achieve their goals around depression, anxiety, stress management and substance use disorders. My approach with clients is to create a personalized treatment plan and utilize evidence-based strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
I am trained as an art therapist and value creative expression as a form of healing. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to address thought and behavior patterns and utilize mindfulness techniques for stress management.
I live and work in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and am licensed in the state of Wisconsin. I know mental illness and substance abuse can be challenging and misunderstood. It is important to me to show up as an advocate and an ally in the process of growth and change.
“Average people have a worldview that says being comfortable
–Steve Siebold
with who and where they are in life is the key to happiness.
The great ones have a worldview that says happiness is learning,
growing and becoming.”
